Clear Lake Fishing Trips

In the last week, catching has really picked up.. Flounder and redfish every Trip on artificial lures.. Sea trout catch will improve and get real good later in the fall and will peak around Thanksgiving . Clear Lake is great in the fall/early winter. Cmon down

Ive been to the boardwalk several times, never fished... but I have seen some relatively small boats fishing the channel there.
I was going to ask about flounder clear lake, so thanks... do a fair amount of kayakers fish clear lake btw?

Fishing the channel underneath the Kemah bridge is always good, just don't throw a cast net, the shrimp are protected right there. i have heard that about the shrimp were protected but is that the whole Clear lake or just under the bridge as you described? the guy i got my boat from told me he got shrimp by the boat ramp/bridge closer to NASA with a castnet and another friend at work told me that was illegal too.
