Looks like there's not much / or consistent generation going on below that Whitney dam. Used to be it was really almost predictable.

Any body got any info on why ?

The ONLY reason to fish with a fly rod in Texas
is to throw a POPPER, casting any other type fly just means you're doing something.

Mild weather and low lake levels are part of it for sure. Whitney is almost 11-1/2' low. That's a lot of water that isn't there now. That reduces the static water pressure at the generators, too, which means less power for a given amount of flow.

I wondered if there is not construction shutting the flow down, or, given our current SNAFU style government, Obamacare.
