Some of the new Frabill suits are nice. They now have models a bit cheaper than the FXE Storm suits. I own the FXE and it has been the best suit I have seen or worn. Does the FXE suit get lots heavier when wet? I have the Cabalas Guide wear and when it gets wet it get 4 times heavier. The out side holds, absorbs water it seems. I stay dry and warm yes, but man it gets heavy on the shoulders.

I've had the H2O and Frogg Toggs for over three years. Never a problem. I know the higher priced suits are probably better, but... not $100 - $150 better. I stay warm and dry in the H2O during colder months.

Look at the Cabela's lighter weight ones. You can get the Dry-Plus cheaper. I have a PacLite and the Heavier version.

BPS 100mph
I bought a set for my son and I about 4 years ago and they're still going strong. Warm and dry!
I liked the look of the 200mph better, but my boat won't go that fast and I didn't want to look like I was bragging....

LOL for most the 100MPH suit would be bragging. Not that many boats out there that do a legit 100mph+.
I know mine wont for sure.

Light suit, you can't beat under armor, there might be some just as good, but hard to beat. the heavier suits, there are many good ones, pay for your poison.

I have the Frog Toggs suit. It was cheap but has done fine in a couple of rain storms. I would keep the suit in the bag it comes with, though. Just bought and used these last week over my hunting coveralls the combo is as good as any 300 suit and only costed 100 for all the gear, keep this in my boat for emergencies. Like if some one fell into the drink, would be able to completely cover them in quilted comfort. !

Broke out my H20's last Saturday on Fork and couldn't be happier. No rain but it killed the wind chill. They are not insulated so if it's cold, have layers to take care of that.
As far as blocking the wind, they saved my butt. I suspect they keep the rain out as well as any others.
