We have been out a time or two when we really shouldn't have.. Could have been filmed for an episode of deadliest catch with the deck and sides covered in solid ice... We gotta new rule if your having second thoughts or wondering if it is safe....then it's NOT...live to fish another day..dont be hard headed when it comes to safety
If it ain't broke don't fix it...but go ahead and work on it anyway.....

I did a float trip with an outfitter 30 yrs ago and on every life jacket had a whistle attached. When I got home did the same. I've never needed them but a real life saver for a few bucks!

Have a half gallon of shine to keep my friends and I warm this weekend. haha
+1 on the letting someone know your plans and when to expect you back. I do the same thing when I head out on longer trips on my motorcycle.
