These were my girlfriends first trout on camera. She had caught several others but couldn't hold on for camera. Had to do a little reviving on the poor brown cause she had a death grip on it lol. It swam away fine and was glad to be moving along. The rainbow she stayed out late with me that first night and caught it around one in the morning.

Can't argue with that, thing is though, I still can't seem to see the trout.

It's more than the catfish would do.

She is very determined and hard headed at the same time lol. So I have to pick and choose times to give advice:). It's funny she has caught bigger trout than a few of my friends that fly fish a good bit. Even with my broken arm she is looking forward to hitting the white river, and camping on the shores of table rock in two weeks. She also loves camping and hunting so looking good.

my wife likes to fish as long as she doesn't have to put bait on the hook or take the fish off...

...so pretty much she just likes to cast and reel in

Mine will put the worm on the hook and take the fish off, as long as it isn't a catfish. Her Daddy didn't have any sons, so she grew up a tomboy. (She's a pretty fair mechanic, too. She put together the carb on my old Mustang while I put the valve train back together.)

Mine says she'll go fish with me in Alaska as long as the lodge has a spa. smirk
