I'll go by what the guy says...25.5 if so, at least 7 or 8 pounds. When taking a piture at that angle the tail end is going to look skinny.

Yep, that's what he said. I think he bought one afterwards though. My guess was between 6-7Lbs...not enough information or pics to be accurate.

Here's a 3.10lb bass I caught at Ray Roberts two weekends ago. I didn't measure his length and no pic holding him for scale either. I wanted to get him back in the water ASAP so I only took the one pic but based on the size of the mouth of your uncle's fish compared to his hand, your fish looks a little bigger than the one I caught. A great fish that will probably motivate him to buy a scale.
