Is there any place other than Rockwood to launch on the Trinity. I would like to get as close to the dam as possible.

Camp Carter, or the side road by Burger Lake, Camp Carter is easier but. They don't alway let you use their road. Hard to get kayak down off of road but worth it.

If u go th burgers lake route better have help it's a pain getting over the rocks then u gotta portage across the bridge at camp Carter but fishings ok

I put in at Isbell and White Settlement Road. There is a parking lot and easy access to the river. Thanks for the info. Maybe I'll see you guys out there sometime.
