I'm heading to Eufaula this weekend to go to the in-laws lake house. I like Eufaula but I hardly every fish it in the fall when the temps start to drop. Just looking for some general areas and patterns that can be good, I don't need any exact spots but I won't get mad if you give me any haha. I'd like to catch some of those toad smallies too! Anything helps.

Been across the lake lots of times but have never fished it. I am going there in November so after you get back please post some info about the lake. I do have a friend that lives and fishes the Canadian river, he said the bite was slow right now.

That's a big lake and absolutely beautiful!!!! I would just go up one of the creek arms and start beating the banks with a spinner bait and square bill craw pattern. Points and secondary points are plentiful so take advantage.

I'm headed for Atoka in the morning. I'm planning to fish Sardis as we did well there but I was also going to fish Eufaula, it's just an hour from Atoka. Looks like there is a big marina right near the town of Eufaula. I was planning on going up those creeks northeast of the dam. I'm more excited now as I'd heard the lake was not that pretty.

White Spinnerbaits and Topwaters like Spooks work great in the fall. There are a lot of creeks that have boat houses, they have sharp deep drop offs with brush that hold good fish. They are all over the lake. Flipping jigs to the banks and letting them fall down the drop offs work well. Eufaula Cove is the main area in Eufaula to lunch from, as you leave the marina area east there are rock bluffs on the south side with huge boulders and rocks that hold good fish. Throwing shaky heads with trick stick Senkos. I second calling Nettie and Monty, great people!

Crossed it many times, never fished it. It is huge! We were just over it about a month ago headed to Fayetteville to bring back our son's belongings. The lower end looked clearer. Good rocky cliffs.
