We had to put on the scuba gear to find them today, but they finally decided to get with it. Our best depth was 12-20ft, two turns off the bottom. If you could hold the bait still for 20-30 seconds, you would finally see your line go slack, followed by a nice sweeping hook set. The fish didn't seem to bite until after 9am, I sure wish I would've gotten that memo yesterday... I got to watch a lifetime crappie fisherman reel in his personal best today. 15.5". It was a special moment for me as a guide, and hopefully a great memory for him as well. Here are a few pics from today's trip:

Man that is a toad, im thinking closer to 16 with him straightened out and maybe alittle tail pinch. Awesome fish! Looks like hog season is open!
