There at lunch today and noticed that the Yellow Magics are behind the reel bar. There are no 1/4 oz. left and a select handful of 1/2 oz. (I didn't look close but appeared to be Jap Shad and Bone).

Just a heads up that you may want to call ahead if you are going there specifically for those.

The guy told me they were discontinuing them. Not sure if that was from lack of sales or if they were growing legs and walking off. If it was for the latter reason, that would be a surprise as there were $22 Rico's not 20 feet from there in an isle display, along with a number of other double digit lures.

Oh well, now you know.

I was in BPS the other day and this guy in a Tennessee ball cap was stuffing a bunch of Yellow Magics in his pockets. I asked him if it was okay to do that and he said "It's okay - I know a guy."

Hell I had no clue any of them were made in the USA. I thought they were made in China and distributed by a Japanese company

I'd just as soon screw two treble hooks on a short #2 pencil than spend $14-$20 on an imported over-priced fishing lure! fish

What is the chance we could import some real politicians from China that have little back bone?
