I c-rig almost every trip. I'd say, in the past 5 years, I've caught more than half my fish on a c-rig. It's so easy to fish, and you can cover areas you normally might just blow by like humps and all along rip rap. It's that moment when your weight breaks free from the rock or whatever, then you feel that thump, and you know it's on.

So... the $$$ follow up question...
with so many recommendations for a fluke... is there a color that tends to be the most successful? If you only had one bag of baits in the boat, and they happened to be flukes, and they happened to be watermelon, you'd not be doing too bad.

Anytime the bite calls for a low and slow presentation it's always one of my "go to" set ups.
