Is it set as to where in Emory. I'm with Cameron, a chance to hear it in person. Thanks Bruce for posting this.

It will be a waste of time people in Dallas are going to have their fancy lawns and continue to water them when it is raining. When people are having $5,000 to $15,000 water bills that shows they don't care.

Don't see a lot of brown multi acre lawns lining that lake. Y'all don't seem to have a problem watering your lawns either. Built as a water supply and that's exactly what it's doing, supplying water.Idont see the fish swimming around with their backs out of the water just yet.

Dallas has to put restrictions on people and those that are rich that continue to use should pay extra on their bills per gallon. I know in Crandall it goes up every so many thousand gallons of extra usage per gallon on all of it. It has to be extreme to make them conserve. I just quit watering. I can't afford it in Crandall, my bill is $100 just washing clothes, dishes, & a bath. And my lawn shows it.

You never have or never will see me watering my lawn I didn't do it any place I have ever lived. I never could figure out why people in Dallas area had to water while it was raining. Texas should do like parts of N.Mexico mandatory water rationing 365 days a year after a person has been fined 3 times for going over their water is cut off.

So I went to this same sort of meeting a few years ago and remember them saying the same thing. Fork wasn't built as a bass fishing lake, it was built as a water supply. I get that but at the same time they should have a responsibility to the local community/economy that has evolved over the years because of the great fishery that the parks and wildlife and sportsman created long before they actually built that pump station. It can still be a water draw for Dallas but seriously if some boundaries aren't negotiated as far as limits on draw down, the city of Dallas will suck it dry!

Yes they don't give a hoot about the economy here and my main point anyone using 5 to 15 thousand dollars a month wasting water is obscene.
