Love that lake in the Spring. We go pre-spawn through post-spawn regularly. The rest of the year we tend to focus on other water. The lake has some extremely nice fish in it, but seems like we are hero or zero outside of Spring time!

Looks like dropping levels on our favorite body of water are going to have us fishing Gilmer a whole lot more this fall. Its also our closest lake.

I think I am about the only poster that puts reports up for the lake too. Unfortunate, as I am not that great there. Would love to read how and what others do there!

Can always catch fish in the grass above he bridge....frogs or buzzbaits. Slow down and punch the grass with a watermelon/red sweet beaver
