Eye protection is a must. It is a good idea to ware glasses at all time when fishing. Get some clear ones for night. You dont want to end up like this guy!

It makes you think about unhooking a fish and having too many people in the boat! Watch wear you cast pleas and ware eye protection!

This almost happened to me years ago, had a fish hit a top water right at the boat set the hook missed the fish and the bait hit me in the eye so hard I thought it blacked my eye, I was blessed that the hooks didn't get me that's why I always wear my Wily X's or for low light I have a pair of high quality clear safety glasses

Thats gotta HURT! Not just for Treble Hooked baits either... I had a tungsten weight come at my eye at Mach 3 a few years ago while trying to unhang a snag.... Glad I had my Sunglasses on.

OMG! Sunglasses are not just to block the rays but help block the trebbys too. Thats a reminder for me to keep them on while fishing.
