David I am dying to go back but don't know how to make it work, I may drive there next week to look at it and take some pics. After all the fish we caught last weekend I have the fever BAD to do it again. I had forgotten what a 15+ feels like much less Terry catching 3 sets of doubles back to back all over 12.

I was out there last weekend, I launched from Dr. Creek in my kayak. I don't know how a boat would be able to make it out of the ramp, it was very shallow even for my yak.

My bad, it was actually two weeks ago, but it was too dang windy to fish. I did go out in it, was not able to catch anything, I had waves coming over the yak, and the wind was pushing against me pretty hard so I just threw in the towel.

I drove over the dam yesterday. It looks like it's dropped at least another foot. No way to put a boat in anywhere. It looks real lonesome and sad. Not a boat in sight.

I launched at Dr's Creek Saturday and I had to drag it all the way out of the pass. Almost all the way to the Buoy marker. It was easier to launch at Tira. It is bizarre to look at with the water so low. I had my family with me so I stayed close to the ramps. Caught a few sandies and cats at Tira. I could see Hybrids blowing up in the distance here and there but too far to chase them and they kept moving.

What did you launch Saturday? I sure wish we could get some water in Cooper.

Cooper has been getting some rain but I'm guessing it's prob only enough to keep it at its low levels. I wonder at what point TPWD may acknowledge a lake has a new pool level and build/modify ramps accordingly?

Keep in mind that Cooper is the priority drinking water lake for Dallas area suburbs. Bridgeport is the equivalent to Cooper (for Ft. Worth.)
That means these 2 lakes get drawn more, and get drawn faster than any other lakes in the area. That's the main reason both lakes seem constantly low. They had to take Texoma out of the water supply because of zebra mussels. This has done a real number on Cooper and most other lakes east of Dallas.
