I know it won't be long until the Shad go deep. I'm really looking forward to winter Blue's. I fish Tawakoni, live next to Hubbard and work near White Rock. Can anyone pm or text me some ideas of where winter Shad can be netted? Hate the thought of using frozen all winter. All advice greatly appreciated. 214-803-4025. Also if anyone does it for guides I sure don't mind paying.
Thanks,
Todd

Cast around the 751 bridge. There is a deep hole just out from the ramp nesy to the bouy. Cast in there. Make sure you have a good net. Iy takes one that sinks fast. Good luck

Hey whoever needs shad this winter I'll be making bait trips and stocking up, I can meet people and give them shad but I would need some help with the gas money, I figure $20 In gas per gallon of shad would work. I'm not selling any shad! I repeat NOT SELLING THE SHAD, but I will accept gas money for them

Carey Thorn (Tarponfly) does short guided trips to show you where and how to catch winter time shad. He has posted videos about this.

You know they are in the creeks or in 40 fow in the lake. Go to the creeks and start walking them and looking. Take 2 cheap nets and some waders and get after it. You work by WRC and that is a good start.
