My wife hates the boat. As soon as I hit 30mph she starts screaming at me to slow down.

Big Red 12, I'm sure some of those winnings came out of my pocket. We fished CAST back in the 80's when it was all ran out of Ft Worth.

My wife loves the evening bite. Hates ME when I make her go with me in the mornings before 11 am. If I need her to she will fish a tournament if my regular partner cannot. Still hates the early mornings. She is my after cartoons fishing partner.

It's more her going with me than her fishing with me. She sorta dabbles with the fishing sometimes - I think it's more to make me think she's interested in it than how interested in it she really is. Whatever...she's my best friend, too, so I enjoy her company no matter what.
Fishing, a man knows a serenity of soul and peace of mind that he finds in doing nothing else, and it makes no difference whether or not he catches anything. The mind of a true fisherman is not on petty subjects.

My wife loves it. She's my best friend and my favorite fishing buddy. She grew up going fishing (saltwater) with her Daddy. She's even doing well with a baitcaster and pitching techniques now. We entered our first bass tournament together this past year (West benefit on RayBob) and now she is wanting a newer, bigger, faster boat almost more than me. I think I was the real winner that day. Next step towards that boat is to get her out of Law School and in to that lawyerin' job. About 8 months to go.

My wife likes to go out in the boat, when it's not too hot or cold,but doesn't fish. So, about mid-morning she meets me at the ramp and goes out for an hour or so. She enjoys the nature aspect of it a lot.
In memory of my childhood friend Dan Sterling, who taught me at an early age how to catch bream with a hand-line, and who unknowingly hooked me on fishing for life.

Yes, she is gorgeous and she is a Natural at it! Took her to Fork twice and she outfished me both times!

My wife does not fish with me. With the water low at the lake we have a house near (not on but a few blockes off) there is no place to really beach your boat to move the rig. She will get up at O'dark thirty whenever I want to leave, launch me and then go back to bed. I'll call her when I'm ready to come in and she'll back the trailer up hook up the boat and pull me out.
She never complains about how often I fish or when I buy new stuff (I have to keep it within reason)or how much stuff I have. I was half joking a few weeks ago and told my neighbor (while she was there) that he sould buy my boat so I could get a new one. He has been hinting around that he wanted to buy it. She just said I don't care as long as we can afford it. She's a real keeper.
