bored and sitting at home waiting on Mondays fishing trip, i was watching TV and saw this bobber/float. it is called the "Trout Call Castable Teasers" i know the Mauler style floats work but what sold me was the ability to cast it a country mile because some times i have to cast into the the wind. anyway, i ordered one and when it came in the mail, i let my son (14) open it and he just laughed and gave me the look. he did say it did make a deeper sounding pop then the rattle bobber we have been using so i guess we will see how it works on Monday.

I is not only the chugging sound that the cork is making but the clacking of the beads. I will wait to hear how your new toy works before I make judgement. smile This is by far my favorite popping cork if you have not seen them before. Good Luck.

Well, if it catches fish for you, then $12.95 each is a great value.

Never know with products like this ... I seem to recall buying a pack of banjo minnows some years ago, and my experience was that they worked very well.

I don't normally use poping corks but there's a time and a place for everything. Like a topwater plug, sometimes the click sounds work best, sometimes the clack. I always preferred the deeper sounding plugs myself.

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.
