Should be a good time. Fish a mix of punch bait and shad and see which one works best.

Went today and only managed one keeper channel. We tried both shad and CJ's in shallow water and deep. Had a couple more bites on the CJ's as well. Talked to a couple other guys out there today and all they had was one keeper each. Question I have for y'all that go there alot. There was alot of foam on the water like it was turning over. Is this normal for there, or is it truly turning over?

I've never seen foam out there before. But next time you go, take you some range cubes or sour some milo and toss out a few handfuls it will bring them in. If you boat fish also, do the same thing in 3 or 4 spots and go back and fish the first chummed area. Get you a gallon of sure shot and get the filet knife sharpened because you will probably limit
