I fished the pass today from 11-3 and the fishing was great Limit of flounder and 1 keeper red. The trick to catching: was cast let it sink, jerk, twitch, twitch. Wait 10 sec and repeat I used white and chartreuse gulp

I heading out there early Monday morning. I'm probably gonna fish the bay side for some Flounder first then move to the Gulf side for some Reds. Then let my daughter have some fun catching croaker. Just depends on the tide when I get there.

No nothing Gulp, gulp, gulp chartreuse twisty tail and the white gulp that looks like a shrimp The technique Is critical Stay on the bottom at all times Let it sink, jerk, twitch, and wait for some time!!!! Use this technique and you will catch flounder I also used LSU color with good luck

jug, love your knowledge, I'm going to try again in a week or so. Are you straight jig head and bait or do you weight the line higher up then?
Happy fishing!

Straight jig heads. If the tide is going out fast move towards the inter coastal more Keep the rod tip up after you twitch, twitch, pause You will fill the tap and fill the fish before you jerk, like worm fishing for bass you must pause! Good luck the big girls will be moving soon

I fished the pass yesterday afternoon Within 1 hour after arriving the tide changed. I did manage 4 flounder before the fish shut down. I might try in the morning The tide will be going out
