Thats funny BC Mr.Lane has been called before one on one to fish and he crawfished then.

I agree...His complaining tells the truth of his inability to catch fish anywhere else.

^I will be fishing the Lake Jacksonville Open this Saturday from 6am to 2 pm. Come on down and sign up. wink

I don't even know who you are? I asked the BLT a question about Lake Tyler not being on their 2014 schedule. I don't recall asking you anything. I will be at Lake Jacksonville this Saturday fishing a tournament and I plan on being at the BLT open on Tyler. So come out and fish and make sure you come by to say hello.

he's just one of the several who have challenged you to bring a boat and a wallet to any lake besides tyler and you never have as far as i can tell, you know who he is, don't be all tough then deny knowing someone you've backed down to in the past.

Before you whine about Driving to Palestine maybe you should look at the west Schedule... We will drive more in 2 tourneys than you do all season.

I like it! If your a good angler you should like to fish different water.

Palestine is in Tyler's back yard. 30 minutes max. This is jackpotters whinning.

Well it sucks the Abilene division had to go cause that's what my dad and I fished but now with amistad added that's too far for him so now I either gotta find a new partner or a new trail. Plus he's not too excited about the entry fees going up either but oh well guess you gotta do what you gotta do. I enjoyed fishing it y'all were always top notch and friendly trail.

What the hell are you talking about? I have never met him or you. Nobody has challenged me to anything. All this stems from when I purposely weighed in last at an open tournament on Tyler earlier this year and put it on some jersey wearing experts. We were all in the same tournament... I won it.... so get over it. I get beat in tournaments all the time, I don't cry over it. I just sign up for the next one and have fun. I very plainly stated above that I am fishing an open on Jacksonville this Saturday. That is a different lake than lake Tyler.. dumb-[censored]. So come sign up, that's where I am fishing. I'm not going to argue about it.

Would everyone please stop this back and forth? Nobody is going to win, and it's just going to get worse. Let it go, please.

Toad Jerker,

We definitely don't want to chase you (or anyone) away! Finding lakes in West Texas that actually have water right now is tough, and getting tougher. I know a lot of guys that fish West Texas also like Amistad, so we are hoping that everyone will want to make the trip once on the schedule. The Del Rio division has a great turnout, so it will be a good payday. Raising the entry fee by $40 was a tough decision, but with the costs related to fishing a tournament (gas, hotel, etc), almost everyone that we talked to told us they liked the idea ($20 each for a good lift in the payout). I hate that you guys may not be able to fish with us next year. We still have plenty of time to make changes to the schedule if we need to (and we probably will due to conflicts). Let's see what kind of feedback we get, and then we can revisit. We appreciate the feedback very much.

Do you have a pay out structure some where? I may have missed it, but did not find one on your site.

Chris,
Looks real good and I like the points changes as well. I'm in again this year. Gonna be a busy '14 with BLT and the Solo's. Oh well it's only money.

Keep up the good work.

Slightly off topic but can you explain the pick 6 option a little better than the details on your website?

If you chose to fish the "pick 6" what does that entail. Other than fishing any six tournaments of course. What if any championships can you qualify to fish through pick six.

Because of scheduling problems my partner and I might not fish our current trail fully next year and are looking at other options to fish as well.

Thanks!!!

Chris

Several of us guys that live in the Texas Panhandle also fished the Abilene division tournaments. We are disappointed to see that division not offered in 2014. You guys run top notch tournaments and we all enjoyed fishing them. The Abilene Division was already a good distance to dive to from Amarillo and with the cost of fuel these days we will have to find another trail to fish. I would like to say thankyou for all the tournaments you did host in the Abilene division.

Toadjerker, RBelott,

We changed the name of the Abilene division to the West Texas Division to be more inclusive of the anglers in that part of the state. The primary problem is Hubbard Creek and Stamford have very low water levels and it could get even worse if we do not get rain.

2013 Abilene division -- Hubbard Ck(3), Possum Kingdom, Stamford

2014 West Texas-- Hubbard Ck(2), Possum King., Amistad, Leon

We added Amistad and Leon to the schedule because they both have water and they are great fisheries.

We replaced Stamford because it has very low water levels.

We kept Possum Kingdom on the schedule for 2014.

We also listed the alternate lakes on the 2014 schedule for Hubbard Creek, so you would know where we plan to go, if there is low water levels on the lakes we put on the schedule.

What lakes would you have selected knowing Hubbard and Stamford has low water levels?

BLT staff

Shawn T,

We are putting a new payout sample on the website because we are increasing the entry fee by $20 per angler for next year. The entry fee will be $200 instead of $160. This will have a major impact on the payouts. The new payout samples will be posted soon on all our websites.

In addition, we will be adding some very generous Sponsor incentives from our sponsors. The final approvals have not been made yet, but it looks good for the following sponsors to join us in 2014 with some super incentives.

* Legend
* Mercury
* Dodge
* Foremost Insurance
* Lew's
* TFO
* Navionics
* Lowrance
* Gander Mountain

Note: Plus we may be able to add several other sponsors that we are in discussions with.

Remember, we pass 100% of whatever the sponsor provides to our anglers. We do not keep our sponsor money. This really helps us when we pay the winners either a $10,000 check or give them a Legend Boat certificate at our Championships.

Thanks for your interest.

USA BT staff
