Has anyone launched a bass boat at tradinghouse in the last two weeks. Thinking about going there this week.

I was there Friday. Me and mine friend both where able to launch but if it goes down anymore I will not be able too. I hit something over by the middle of dam and bent a blade and broke the hub on my prop. We both did catch some nice bass.

I put in there Monday at the steep ramp on Somerfeld. I have a 16' Procraft towed behind a front wheel drive SUV. It was a little difficult getting the boat to float off the trailer. Loading was no problem. Lots of good fishing to be had. I had a wife and an unruly baby and I still managed to boat several nice fish.

I know about the rock by the spillway but this was about 1/2 way down and about 25 feet out from the rocks. My buddy spotted a real large bass by those rock but it would not bite anything. My luck, to fix prop $150.

I have had my truck broken into twice and have been stuck once off the end of the ramp. Pretty risky when its this low.
