being braid has a different feel/texture to it,what would suggest to be a good knot to use.

I don't remember if it was Dutch or Okiebob but one of them introduced me to the reverse clinch knot. It worked great and I use it exclusively when fishing with braided line.

Improved clinch knot or loop knot will do you good. I agree...just remember when fishing in heavy brush avoid the loop knot, as it tends to snag up more...that reverse clinch knot is good, i just can't seem to remember how to tie it...memory lapses, I guess.

I like this one for mono or fluoro: I use the Palomar for braid.

When the braids first came out some of our old knots would not hold, so at that time I switched to the uniknot. Have been using it ever since, except when a loop is needed.

Palomar Knot going through the loop twice instead of just one time.
