I am trying to find a public ramp on Waco that is not closed due to the gov. shutdown. Does any one know of a ramp to launch from right now? I didn't think this would be a problem for this long and I am wanting to get on the water.

Why is Airport open? I am glad to hear it, but isn't it a Fed park?

Yep. The owner is a good guy. There are not any docks when launching but it is still nice. $4 !

4200 Skeet Eason Drive, Waco, Texas

The own seems like a good guy. He gave me directions.

It uses the same entrance as the corps Park. Just hang a right at the open yellow gates before the state park gates. I'm pretty sure they are yellow. It's about a mile long entrance with one sharp almost 90 degree turn.
