Congratulations to Ryan, Walker and all the winners! And many thanks to the organizers who did the work so we could come out, fish and have a good time. Nice to meet some new faces from the community too. I think The sponsors did a very generous job with the goodies and that is just one more reason to fish these events - because you don't have to be a great fish catcher to have fun, score some loot and learn a thing or two. Big thanks to everyone that was involved and how about that HOW total of over 1500. Wow! Looking forward to the next one. ' Till then, fish on!

It was a great time. I really enjoyed seeing old friends and making new ones. Bobby did an excellent job of organizing and running this tournament. The fish didn't want to cooperate on tournament day but it was fun in spite of that. The ice cream eating contest was hilarious for sure and our very own Shaun Russell brought home the gold medal by beating Marcus Villanueva by one spoonful!!! The location and the lake were great as well. The sponsor donated raffle items were a huge hit. Many thanks to all of the sponsors who helped to make this a huge success and to raise over $1500 for HOW!!! Folks, my suggestion is do whatever it takes to make it to the next one. You will not be disappointed. Oh, and who won the custom KBFT 2013 Open Black Pac? "This Guy"!!!

This was an outstanding event that was well ran and organized! This is great for the sport when all the metro areas meet to compete and just have community with other guys around the state.Congrats to Walker, Ryan and KJ for finding it on a tough day. Again, can't say enough about the all the sponsors and folks who made this possible. Outstanding Times and just glad to have been a part of it.

Thanks Bobby and Shaun! It was a great event and great hanging out with everyone.
Walker and I talked a bit after it was all said an done and we agreed that it was nice for both of us to get a little redemption from last October when we both skunked at North vs South at Ivie.
Also.......we also crowned the first ever Kayak Bass Fishing Ice cream eating champion. Congrats Mr. Russell on your delicious victory! Thanks Ryan, Marcus is still complaining that he had more cookies in his ice cream then mine. LOL...:) Great times!!!
And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. Matthew 4:19

Thanks Ryan, Marcus is still complaining that he had more cookies in his ice cream then mine. LOL...:) Great times!!! HEY! Its not complaining if its true! And quit living in the past man. This whole ice cream thing is old news. Besides we were all there to benefit HOW. Quit trying to divert attention to lesser things. LOL Great job on the tourney Bobby. Thanks to Shaun, Alan, Walker, Tom S., and anyone else that contributed to prizes or getting sponsors, helping organize things. I cant wait until next year!

Congrats to all, but especially to Walker, who represented N. Texas nicely.
