Thinking about making a 2-day float trip down the Brazos in early November. Was originally planning on doing the run below PK, but started wondering if the area below Whitney is better.

Main focus is LMB, but would love to get on some Striper and/or Smallmouth if possible.

Any thoughts, suggestions, tips on which part of the Brazos would be a better float this time of year?

Much appreciated.

Below PK makes for a better multiday trip IMO but if the quality of fishing is your main concern then I believe you'll want to head south.

I agree!! There are giant fish on both stretches. PK might be a little more scenic...
