What's your favorite lure to throw for big speckled trout? IMO I love a broken back or a Paul brown's corky.

DOA Baitbuster (deep runner) silver/black back. I like to fish them along the deeper edges of flats in 4 to 5 feet of water. The sound they make when they hit the water sounds just like a finger mullet. The bigger redfish, snook, and tarpon like them too. http://www.b3fishing.com/2011/09/06/the-doa-baitbuster/

Big croaker .... LOL !!!
I think location is more important than choice of lure ... both topwaters and soft plastics have proven themselves to catch double digit trout.
