So what lure comes with the worst stock hooks in your opinion?

I just got a basketful of Cotton Cordell spots from the bargain bin at Walmart for $1.69 each. I was actually going to change out the trebles when I inspected the two on the first bait. Holy hell. I think they're made out of copper. . .or maybe paper mache. I can drag them across my skin and they pretty much refuse to grab. . .4 lures later, I found 1 sharp hook. So I guess all the impulsive hook changing is starting to pay off.

Regardless I'm pretty sure these are the worst factory hooks I've ever seen.

Yep, agreed. The spots are great lures but change the hooks for sure.
The only thing they penetrate is a finger.
Takes about a minute per bait with split ring pliers to change out the hooks.
The Bill Lewis Rattle Traps have a "bleeding bait" series that comes with great hooks. They are $1.50 more than a super spot at regular price.

The original chatter bait. You can bend those hooks with your fingers. Absolute junk hook.

And the next day the point is rusted

Chatter bait, super spot or any of the reba pop r's, Bass pro brand was awful but idk of they have changed

The Rebel pop r is definitely my 2nd worst. Anything Rebel comes with horrible hooks.

Original Chatterbait

The last two original Chatterbaits I bought had the whole hook painted chartreuse, point and all. Plus those hooks do feel soft, almost like solder.

Those hooks on a rattle trap are pretty cruddy.

The strike king baits have pretty poor hooks I have had a large number of them just snap right off when removing a hook from a fish like seriously for 4.99 I would figure it would come with kvd elites haha best bait with stock hooks are any lucky craft bait!
