#1 concern is placing it/them where there is some blocking under the fiberglass that can handle the shock loads. Just screws through thin fiberglass will pull out.

Any place along the top cap should be good. I have owned 3 Champions and they have 3/4 inch plywood on top of the cap. Use 3/4 inch screws.
