Cobras are cool but I haven't ever really had a thing for elapids. I love pitvipers and b. atrox is as good as it gets for me. I'd love to see those baby gaboons though. I love African snakes too.

i love keeping rattlers an copper heads, plus all the large boas an pythons. An i deleted my collection a couple years but i cant wait to get my habitats set up again! but what extra steps of protection should be made for the exotic vipers ?

everyday is a learning experience ....... if your not learning why try ?

Never put your hands on them, ise tongs or a hook, don't move them unless it is absolutely necessary, when doing husbandry put them in a seperate container with a good lid, feed frozen with a long set of hemos, contact your local hospital and let them know that you have exotic snakes, have all your paperwork up to date, make sure your enclosure is secure with locks, and understand that if you get bit, you will probably be faced with a worst case scenario because there may not be antivenom readily available, but to me its all worth it to be able to work with such beautiful animals

It is cool looking. It is Antheris, but I'm not sure which species.

I think it's called crapmypantsicus
