Any recent Fayette reports since the fish die off?

The fish kill was minor. I know Weldon Kirk caught catfish and a couple of others caught bass.

I was out there this past weekend and I don't believe the die off did much. I caught fish in the same spots as I always do. Ended the day with around 35.

I hope the fish kill will actually help the lake in the longer run.

I was there yesterday (in my kayak). I didn't see a single floater and I fished from PP to 3-Fingers. The shad are stacked in the backs of coves, creeks and points and the fish have started to follow. I caught 20+ fish and they all came out of 5-8ft of water. Couldn't get bit deeper than that. Crankbait bite was weak and only one on a frog in the reeds. Everything came off plastics. Nothing big......2-3lbers all day long but they were fat, healthy and mean. I didn't catch a single sick looking fish. Water temps were 84-87* main lake. I think the fish kill is only going to help the lake!

Alton Jones fished it the other day and reported catching 70 fish according to his FB page.
