Check out my newest video where I caught my first shark (a blacktip that came in just under 6 feet) from my kayak, flipped a mile out all alone, and had a run in with the coastguard. Be sure to turn your sound on. Feedback is always welcome! Thanks for watching, Robert

Great video I almost landed a shark about that size from a paddle board... Glad he got off I had no idea how I was gonna get him off

Great video I almost landed a shark about that size from a paddle board... Glad he got off I had no idea how I was gonna get him off It was an intense fight from the kayak, can't imagine a SUP!

I don't want to start a new thread for this: Has anyone tried the new GoPro Hero3+? Any significant improvement?

Nice. Why did they call the coast guard on you? Safety reasons? A lady that owns a seashell shop was watching me in binoculars and saw me flip so she called them. Luckily I didn't need them that day, but it was a good feeling to know help would've been on the way if I had. During the 3 minutes I was drifting, the wind and current were both pushing me and my kayak towards Rollover Pass. The current in the pass is ridiculous, and me living through it would have been unlikely. I came very close to abandoning my boat and swimming for the beach.

Let me know when you come back down to Galveston it would be cool to go out with somebody with experience I was there this weekend fishing the LSKS Redfish Tournament. I plan to do one last BTB trip for the year in about a month or so.
