 Monday on Navarro Mills – Caught some nice keepers and not many throwbacks.

Navarro Mills Lake Monday morning September 30th with Milton Meadows and Eric Emeritz. We caught 41 crappie with 28 being keepers. The past several trips, the throwbacks way outnumbered the keepers so hopefully quality fish are starting to move into the condos. Today’s fish came from condos in 10 to 12 feet of water on black body chartreuse tail jig or white/blue feather jig. Previous trips, blue body white tail jigs were the best but not today.

Doyle, good job buddy....now tell me again when is that Lions Club fish dinner? The fish fry was this past April. Over 200 people enjoyed all the fish and trimmings they could eat. Date for the 2014 Lions Club Fish Fry has not been set.

Nice haul again!  Seems like you guys are always bringing home a nice mess. I wonder how many fish you guys clean a year. I know that number has to be wayy up there. Lots of good crappie eating to be done for sure!
