Yep, prom queen gone bad. Killed her husband with the kids in the house. She was on that show Snapped. Crazy, remember having a huge crush on her. She has been out to the house several times in high school. Probably could have gone out with her but lost interest around Junior year of high school. Thank goodness I didn't pursue her!

I knew Betty Lou Beets, knew her husband Doyle Wayne Barker who was buried under the back yard building at Cherokee Shores in Payne Springs. Betty took the big shot in the sky a while back, courtesy of the state of Texas.

Yes, I went to school with a fellow and knew him well. He got on drugs and while burglarizing a home for drug money was surprised by the homeowner and killed her.
He was sentenced to death, but was changed to life in prison like Charles Manson and everybody else when they abolished the death penalty some years back.
The death penalty is back,but those changed to life were not changed back to death like Charles Manson.

My dad had a good friend that had a huge ranch we hunted on in Calif. He also had a home in town.He came home one day and found his wife in bed with another guy. The guy jumped up and ran at him. Bob had his Remington mod 600 243 in his hand. He raised the gun and shot him in the chest. He did 2 yrs for involentary man slaughter.
My dad who was a captian in the county sheriffs office talked the judge into letting him keep the rifle instead of destroying it. When dad passed I took the gun to turn it back in. The judge told me to keep it. I hunt with it to this day.

Went to school with Wesley Miller who killed Retha Stratton back in the early 80s, knew both of them all through school, actually good friends with Wesley played sports together. Good student good person, just changed once out of school and became who he is today.

A guy that used to work for me warned his son-in-law that if he laid another hand on his daughter he would kill him. The sil smacked the daughter around again and he shot him dead. Laid his gun down and called the cops himself. What kind of Sentence did he get?

I've known people who have been killed. Had a cousin murdered for one. There's a couple others also. Known people who have killed themselves. Not sit if I know anyone who is a killer for certain. I do know a couple people who wouldn't surprise me one bit if they were killers though. The wife has a 1%er in her family that wouldn't surprise me. That dude it just plain crazy.
