Nothing picture worthy but caught a ton of fish. And, It was my first chance to fish my new Lew's Team Pro and Super Duty on Dobyns Savy rods. All I can say is...amazing. Had both of the reels dialed in within the first dozen casts and you can cast those things a mile. Super smooth, great balance, can't say enough good things about them. And, I was a little concerned about buying the "low end" Savys but there is absolutely NOTHING low end about those rods. I'm completely sold on both.

And yes...the lake is definitely turning over but the fish were feeding like crazy up shallow.

Savvy is probably the best rod on the market in that price range! And I've tried a LOT of brands!

Yes, the fish will avoid the nasty stuff in the deeper waters- so they move shallow until its over. I love fishing during the turnover! It's a flipping paradise for me!
