I guess I am different that most, doing it for over 16 years. I like Stanford Cedar Crank shallow and Gary Dees D-bait, one is balsa, the other is cedar and they work VERY well, better than most of the commercial varieties. They cost about $19 and $15 each, but they are well worth the money. Hope this helps.

Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

I gotta jump on the Handmade Wood squarebills. I've been using them here lately and getting bit on them when my traditional go to squarebills have not been working. That being said I love h20 cranks as well.

H2O's Tennessee shad. They are killing it on Eagle Mountain. Well for me they are.

XB-1 has a "knock" sound to it...most others have a rattle or silent. It is a different tool...

Does anyone who isn't sponsored by Xcite use the XB-1? I'm really interested in these lures but it seems like everyone pushing them has some stake in it.
