Thx, I was just talking to the lady earlier that day about how I never really catch flats. I try live bait at night off the dock and never get one unless they are small.
We were out drift fishing blues when this thing hit on cut perch. I knew he was big but had no clue how big and was extra happy he was a flat.

Nice fish! Still looking for my first flattie on R&R. Thanks man, It was not something I was expecting. I never have much luck with catching Flats. But man what a fish and what a day that was. Made it so much better to be able to fight him and reel him in. 11 lbs was my biggest fish up to that point.
