My son is going to NTCC (Go Eagles Baseball) and wants me to take him fishing on Bob Sandlin this Sunday. Where are the best places to launch and fish. Not looking for seceret spots but general areas.

Is the fishing any good right now?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Just saw this. I've been doing good on Sandlin, but ZERO'D Friday night. There was five boats out there & I didn't see anybody catch a fish.

We did pretty good two weeks ago along the riprap along the RR bridge. I found quite a few brushpiles in the northeast corner but didn't fish for crappie. I talked to a couple locals (real nice guys) and they said the fishing was pretty goog along the west shore of the arm that has the Marina (Big Bend?? - the one where you turn right at the baseball fields in Pittsburg, go a few miles, cross over the bridge, marina/launch on the right). Wish I could be more help but hope you get into some.

That is a real nice lake and I look forward to fishing it more often. Might have to hit you up sometime so I can learn the lake.

Now about those Pittsburg Hot Links, you recommend I try one sometime? Where is the best place to get them?

The best place was the Hot Link Palace in Mount Pleasant, but it's now closed. Pittsburg Hot links in Pittsburg, one block north of the main drag is the best place now. Well, beside my house rolfmao My eldest daughter as perfect cooking them right down to the chili. I'm gaining weight just thinking about them cheers
