Last year I think I remember hearing about some dude was running an older skeeter that he had screwed together with sheet metal screws and the boat came apart running down the lake, what is it with skeeter owners and Lake Fork???

Boat for sale on craigslist: Used older model skeeter, great boat, fast, minor scratches, needs a little hull work, good in stumps...

They're the only boats that last long enough to be held together with baling wire, duct tape and paper clips.

It filled with water, flipped over upside down and they towed it in.

They did prior to 1996, and that one was older than that. I would say that boat is totaled. Cost more for glass work than it's worth.

Looks like the boat I caught a ride with at the skeeter owner tournament. I wouldn't be surprised. That guy almost went up the back of a pontoon boat while we and they were running in the run lane. 3 times I had to either yell "lookout" or grab the wheel. He scared the heck out of me. Stumps were not a problem for him. He would just say "hold on. Stump coming".
