Been getting some fair catches along the ICW lately. Crossing the ICW bridge on 332 go to the right work your way back to the ICW. Finger mullet or soft plastics worked along the bank.

Is the ICW bridge, the bridge next to a popular boat ramp? The bridge that takes you to surfside beach?

Yes and yes. Bridge Bait is under the bridge. Good folks running the place. Nice place to have a cold one and visit.

Thanks for sharing that Gaff, I was going to try the jetty this weekend, I might work the waterway a little too. Also I have never been to Bridge Bait, might try them out.

Happy fishing!

"reel pro" I launch at the Surfside City boat ramp. Go north in the ICW past Oyster Creek and work the banks going north. I use my trolling motor throwing artificals along the bank. Most of my hook ups are within two foot from the bank. The old ICW I work the same way up to Drum Bay. If I was to use live bait I'd go with Mud Minnows, Finger Mullet or Shrimp rigged free-lined small split shot #2 circle hook. Hope this helps.

"Reel Pro" Swan lake is shallow and stays silted up with poor visability. I have caught Flonder on the flats coming up from the ICW. Never seen anyone venture very far back into the lake. But you won't know till ya check it out.
