Makes you kinda rethink the theory of chugging along a buzzbait as slow as you possibly can. Yep. I don't think you can reel fast enough to out run a fish. I remember a BASS or FLW event several years ago on a clear lake where the angler had given up like this and was burning his buzzbait back to the boat. Camera caught a fish run up, pass the bait, turn and look at it, get under it, and hit it.
