I have fished out of a 24' that was awesome. Felt very safe out in the Gulf.

I have a 2011 Nautic Star 2200TE and I love my boat. Picked it up at Carey and Son's in Grandbury. It takes rough water really and keeps me dry and has a ton of dry storage and large livewells.

I have an '08 2110, which I bought used after considering a whole bunch of boats. I have been impressed with the fit, finish and all around quality. The Yamaha F150 will push it about 45 tops with just me, and is quiet and doesn't drink fuel. I drove a 20' Skeeter Bay that was a really good boat too, but I like the taller gunwale on my NS, especially drifting or anchored in rough water.

Hey Tom! I am one of Nautic Stars pros. Awesome boat. At one point I owned 2. The 1910 and the 2200TE. Currently I am running the 2110 Shallow Bay. In the past I have owned Crownlines, Skeeters, and Action Craft. Over the years, I have been on almost every brand of boat at one time or another.
Nautic Star is first rate not only in design, but also in craftsmanship. Their bay boats are built to fish. The 1810 is a great boat, but the 1910 is slightly better. It offers a few things the 1810 doesn't. The 1' at the front makes the 1910 feel even bigger, the 1910 has an upgraded console that has built-in rod holders that you will hit your leg on a lot less, the 1910 handles rougher water better with the slight added weight, you have the option of a larger engine with the 1910. A 115 is ok, but if you fish 3-4 people, the boat doesn't perform as well as it could.
Overall Nautic Star has brought serious competition to the Bay Boat market at a consumer friendly price and quality that matches or exceeds Ranger and Skeeter.

I just bought a 2014 Nautic Star 214 XTS with a Yamaha 150. I love the boat and the way it's laid out. It has some great features and great options. Considering what the rangers and skeeters are selling for the nautic stars are priced very good! I looked at just about every CC maker out there and the nautic stars lay out was exactly what I was looking for. My only advice is buy the biggest boat possible. If you have any questions or want a boat ride in my nautic star feel free to PM me.
