hahaha - bad wording on my part. I will correct it. I guess my point was that is what they have done in the past with their truck events so I would assume it would be the same here. So like I said, if that is indeed the case, which I think it is, then if you win one of the 27 trucks in 2014, then you can either keep or sell the truck or cash out like they have done in the past.

Are you guys seriously complaining about new trucks at events? What (.)(.) bags! Go start your own freaking trail! Get off you lazy arse and hustle the sponsors yourself. then when you have your tournament...I will get on the Fishing Forum and tell you how much your tournaments suck and that is no better than the next trail. When you run your own trail, then get the sponsors to go over and above for a loaded truck for the championship tournament. ARE YOU SERIOUS? People cry about 1,000$ fees then cry about 280$ fees. It time for fishermen to be men and JUST FISH. IF YOU DO NOT LIKE THE TRAIL, FIND ONE THAT SUITS ALL OF YOUR PRE-MODONNA NEEDS! free entry fees and 50,000$ to first place and IRS doesnt get any of it. Whereever you finish in the tournament, YOU AND ONLY YOU get paid. What babies!

Something I also think some of you guys are forgetting is that my guess is there is going to be a cash option like they did for all of the Mega Bass trucks they gave away. I think in those deals they just paid the winners what they had to pay for the trucks...I think it was around $15K. So if this is the case then you can either win a truck worth more than $20K and keep it or sell it for whatever you can or you would be able to cash out for $15k. Doubt this will happen, Im sure whatever deal they have worked out involves the "sales" of these trucks, probably some kind of fleet deal for that many a year. I asked a buddy what the city he was a councilman for paid, their rate was way under 20K for a f150 fleet truck, I wont post exact but several thousand under. It is what it is. CASH IS KING would be a good rule of thumb for trails to remember.

I think it doesn't matter what Champs puts out, there will always be a group that will try to bring it down. I shouldn't of said "no desire" frankly I just hate the 3 fish limit and hate fishing Ray Bob twice a year. Now no cash 1st is just my nail in that coffin. They run a great trail but I just dislike their recent decisions but they are a business so they make their decisions based on what is good business So how much 1st place cash have you won to make you not want to win a prize instead? But I totally get the Ray Roberts part.
Retirement best job ever.

Consider yourself lucky to be able to live in such a great state that offers so many different levels of competition to amateur anglers. As far as Ray Bob twice a year... I dont see a problem with it. Fishes completely different during the two visits. Might as well be two different lakes.

Maybe it can be like this. If a tournament trail is busting their butt and trying to make things a good as they can for the fishermen and women and not trying to put the screws to any body, and some whiny dirt bag bashes them, I will do all that I can to track your fishing history down, what tourneys you fish, what you weighed, and all the tournaments you've whined about in past post, AND OUT YOU with a picture so that the tournament diretors will know who you are and can address these "ISSUES" with you personally. There is another on the fourm that I am sure would help me with this. I do fish tournaments and no I dont win much, but I do it because I love to fish. NOW......WHO'S FIRST?

Because the normal complainers hiding behind a computer will now say that $15,000 is not an improvement over last year, I'll go ahead and up my offer to $16,000 each.
