Can't believe that bird would have the nerve to eat a bass. They are sacred.
Cool picture!

I don't think he'll make it.

That is an awesome photo! Bass chases gill up against the bank and inhales him. Unfortunately for the bass, there is a snowy egret watching this unfold. Egret gets a two-fer.

I think the Egret is smiling and licking it's chops.

What makes you guys think it's photoshopped? You can see the bill of the egret poking through the bottom of the bass.

My guess, it was an easy meal for the egret. Bass was probably struggling if not dying from that over-sized meal. Really cool pic just the same.

What makes you guys think it's photoshopped? You can see the bill of the egret poking through the bottom of the bass. massive pixelation around the bass, especially on the top edges, and also quality of photo capture on the egret is much better than the photo quality on the bass. these to objects were definitely taken with two different cameras, not to mention color temperature and white balance seem to be different as well. its easy enough to make sure the object (birds beak) extends through the fish, but it's harder to hide all the artifacts showing in the photshoop....

Good observation! I agree....

If the photo is infact real, these artifacts can happen when too much photo processing is done.
Lots of people play with their photo's too much and in fact make a picture worse from a technical standpoint.
Less obvious in small screen image but if this photo was printed on a large scale for display it would look like poop.

I just shared the pic. I have no clue to its origin or authenticity.
