bmb. whoever you book, please go with realistic expectations. Learning your electronics and asking questions are all part of a good guide trip. Catching BIG bass is a bonus and does not happen every day.

Call several. Let them know what you are wanting/what your expectations are. Choose the one that feels right. They are all good.

There is only one guide who has had several 50 pound sacks this year. I don't think any other guides have even had one.

they are all good, except that one guy who rode around in a customer's boat, took him to a few community holes, said he did not feel too good and left and then charged him, I would stay away from that guy for sure....

A couple of years ago at a tackle show I overheard a guy named "stinky?" say he was the best fork guide.

They are all good...they have good days and bad days. Some are better in different times of the year....call them and talk with several....go with your gut
