Im looking to hire my first ever guide in the next couple of weeks. whos the or one of the best all around guides on lake fork? I would like to catch some big fish, learn about side imaging, and he wouldnt mind answering about a thousand questions. please give me your opinions. bmb. whoever you book, please go with realistic expectations. Learning your electronics and asking questions are all part of a good guide trip. Catching BIG bass is a bonus and does not happen every day. All of the guides at Fork are good.

Call several. Let them know what you are wanting/what your expectations are. Choose the one that feels right. They are all good.

Had days where mother nature didn't cooperate, still learned a lot and enjoyed my day on the water.

There is only one guide who has had several 50 pound sacks this year. I don't think any other guides have even had one.
<just kidding>

There are a lot of good ones, but Tom Redington gets my vote.

they are all good, except that one guy who rode around in a customer's boat, took him to a few community holes, said he did not feel too good and left and then charged him, I would stay away from that guy for sure....

A couple of years ago at a tackle show I overheard a guy named "stinky?" say he was the best fork guide.
