The Tournament Pro is a sweet reel I also use the Super Duty and is what I would choose for what your wanting to do. The Lews reels IMHO are the best thing out and hard to beat.

Lews comes out of the same factory as the ? Made side by side. But no service centers to repair them. So I have herd . Is the lews really a Revo ? .Not sure just asking.

They are not the same, similar build design but not the same.

Take two apart side by side and you will see all the differences. Their being the same is just a rumor.

Lews is superior to the Revo (IMO). Not the same.

Thanks for the advice guys, I ordered a Lews Super Duty. I am going to demo an Abu Garcia Premiere from Tackle Warehouse too.

I would think an sx to super duty would be the appropriate comparison price wise?

Premier should be compared to a team pro lews.

And a tourney pro to an stx.

You might like the premier better than the super duty but its twice the cost right??

90 5.0 the Abu Premier is $300, the Lews Super Duty is $150 so you are correct. I've never used a Revo but do own an old BB1(David Fritts) Lews crankin reel that I throw deep divers on!
