The pig was taken about an hr 1/2 north west of Houston. It had very small tusks only about 1/2 an inch
|

Nice hog! She won't have large tusks but that's ok. Meat will better from a sow than a boar.
My guess: 450 pounds on the hoof.

Boy, just think of how many little ones she's put out. And be glad she won't be putting anymore out. She's the biggest wild hog I've ever seen.

The guys who own the land only had a scale that goes up to 500lb and she topped it out. They were guessing she weighed somewhere around 575-600
