Here's the link tp the Toro Tamer subsurface swimbait. The Mag is 2.8 grams and the TT is 3 so it's a little heavier and should cast well.

Are you back for good Charlie?

Will bring the pico de hot stuff, also some cinnamon rolls as per Tunatamers request.I am bringing some hot links to grill and have on hand to snack on also, when that pit is on i get hungry...lol...anyone want add to that for grillin, bring it...My Magaroni was found broken in half when checking gear, so I went with strike pro el patron, which they do have at Roy's B & T. I did pick up a Gibbs lure the half beak pencil popper I'm going to give a shot. I did cast net for some fresh mullet in the 10-12" range, 6-10" range and finger mullet that I froze up for this trip. In addition I'm getting some 10-14" whole squid to free line, and drag some horse ballyhoo for wahoo. I will be in SoCal from the 1-25 of Oct, so I'm trying to get this done before my trip. Can't wait!!!! Go Fish!!!

It would appear I'm back for the foreseeable future or at least until sometime next year Bobby. The airlines I'm supposed to help run has yet to acquire any jets for me to maintain. For all I know it may never happen?

Anyhow thanks I like the look of the Toro Tamer Charkbait stick baits and the price is great too. cheers

Awesome!

Can someone explain how the Feds count recreational Red Snapper catch?

Good thing I checked my off shore gear before I started ordering more. I did not fish last year due to important meetings in Africa and was not sure what all I had as far hard baits goes. So today I checked my baits and remembered I had ordered 5 Magaronis before the Tuna 10 trip that did not make it to my door before I left for Port A. I have 6 Blue backs unrigged and one each blue and green Magaronis rigged ready to fish. I was low on heavy weight Jigs so I got me a bunch of 10 & 14oz (6 of each) and 5 ea. 9oz, I still have around 10 7oz Benthos jigs.

Time to start checking line, cleaning & lubing reals and checking roller guides on the chunk rods. Plus I just turned 58 today so I guess I out to work out a little before the trip too.. LoL

Are we there yet Bobby? cheers

Yeah ..... happy birthday Charlie !!! Not 49 again?

Charlie .... last year on the trip they AJ fished at the floater. This was a first time for me. there were some nice AJ caught and a lot of breakoffs too. I'm not sure if your normal arsenal includes stuff to do the hand to hand AJ fishing there at the floaters but maybe someone will chime in here to advise you what worked for them.

Bobby

Did u get a rod for your avet? I have a rod and an extra Penn 6/0 on a roller rod you can borrow.

I could meet up with ol Bazztex and let him take it down with him
