So I'm gettin married next February.
My company is providing me airfare for my honeymoon, as long as it's in the continental U.S, so unfortunately Belize and Australia are out. All I really want is it to someplace warm, and someplace we can flyfish. We are leaning towards The Keys.
Has anyone here done a guided flyfishing trip there? Or anyone know of a reputable guide in the area?
Thanks yall!

PM J.P. Greeson on here. He used to live down there.

I lived and guided the flats in the keys for 45 years my advise would be to stay away from the rat race in key west go to the middle keys from their you can fish on either side of the keys as well as the glades can't recommend a guide I've been retired 10 years

Thanks guys for the suggestions. I apologize for posting this in the freshwater forum...wasn't awake I guess.
Part of me wants to pay the scratch and get a guide, and part of me wants to just to take off on my own at my own pace and just have fun.
Thanks to sites like this one, I did my homework and dragged in a 38" redfish last week without the use of a guide on my first ever visit to the gulf. Maybe I can pull it off again!

I'll post up my Key West Report tonight sometime. I stayed in Key West itself for a week two weeks ago. I caught more fish on my own than with a guide while I was there. Way diff fishing obviously when fishing live bottom or reefs. I was from the bank hitting Tarpon from 10-80 lbs every night. Report coming soon.

Fell asleep last night. It's coming, sorry. If you stay in Key West on the island itself I guarantee you Tarpon!
