We crash big channels on Fork in mid to late October. Just got to wait for the turnover to finish up

I fish Fork constantly for channels and catch hundreds every year and give most of them away - already cleaned by the way. Lately have been up to my regular routine of fishing baited holes in 30-40 ft. water and initially catching some nice ones, then the dinks come in. For a few days, I fished about 10 ft. off the bottom and had some success, but that faded as well. Maybe the lake turnover is the reason. From past experience, the fall and winter months produce really good sized fish. Any further insight into the present situation appreciated.

The lake is turning fishslime. Really depends on the weather on how long it will last. But when its done, it gets crazy for cats, crappie and bass
